CalExodus and Racial Diversity: What's the Link?

The latest US Census data for 2020 shows that California has become more racially and ethnically diverse than ever.

With the diversity index of 69.7%, California surpasses the US national diversity index (61.1%). At the same time, there’s been a lot of migration from California in the past decade.

That in mind, we created the interactive visual below to explore the link between racial and ethnic diversity and the move in/move out rates across California.
